This interactive data-visualization application shows off the functionality of the new R10X sensor series of german industrial sensor specialist Pepperl+Fuchs. Mounted on several small pillars, one of different sensors of the R10X series can be activated via a physical button, which then delivers measurement data to the application. Featured sensors have single or multiple switch points based on distance, brightness or other criteria, others are distance sensors which deliver distance readings in millimeters. While the interface looks considerably simple, the main challenge of this project was receiving the actual data readings from the sensors and displaying them on the screen in an appealing and intuitive way.
